Pet Business Entrepreneurs – What Makes Us Tick?

Pet Business Entrepreneurs – What Makes Us Tick?

Ever wonder what led you to the path of entrepreneurship? Sometimes it’s a milestone event or an life-changing epiphany. For me, I fell in love with a puppy beagle I named Daisy. Not wanting to go work at a traditional agency, I started 7 Lucky Dogs so I could stay home and take care of my new puppy. Since then, I’ve added a Betta named Jack and who knows, maybe someday I’ll have those 7 lucky dogs.

Business Week has a great article about entrepreneurship and what makes us tick. The article is based on a study by the Kauffman Foundation. It gives insight into how many of us entrepreneurs make the choices we do to strike out on our own as well as the type of family background we share. It’s an interesting, easy read. You can  download the study free of charge if you want some lunch reading.
